For this assignment we were required to pick a non profit to create a set of three cards for. As part of the project, we were also required to block print our designs then digitalize them so they can be reproduced. The non profit organization I chose was Pilots N Paws, an organization that connects volunteer pilots to animals in need so they can quickly be rescued from a bad situation and taken somewhere safe. So, of course, I chose to carve out dogs dressed as pilots. Taking inspiration from vintage Air Force recruitment posters, I chose to block print everything and place them on natural-colored card stock to give it an aged feeling. I carved everything out of real linoleum blocks to hold as much detail as possible. The final outcome is three 5 inch x 7 inch cards with natural-colored envelopes. Pilots N Paws' logo is featured on the back.
